I hope this is the right area for this question Using Konstruct I installed much of the latest KDE desktop and apps in my user profile over my commercial edition (Xandros2) to try it out and setup all the needed environment variables in .bash_profile. It's nice! But, The splash screen always gets stuck on the first item, "Setting up interprocess communications" and just hangs there. Sometimes the desktop icons come up as well as window borders (including the title bar), but sometimes these items...
