I posted this very same problem a while back for the same -ish camera, I use a cool i cam using the stv680 module. Its annoying because I know this webcam works under linux, I use it with 'ekiga' (formerly gnomemeeting) with a friend using netmeeting, works with no problems but would be a lot easier to use with kopete.

When browsing images in konqueror, if I rotated an image it would ask me if I want to save it, I ticked the 'Dont show this again' dialog, now I miss it and cant find a way to enable it again. any ideas? thanks

Ive now upgraded to Kopete 0.11 and KDE 3.5 for the webcam support (which doesnt work for me) Ive now realised that Kopete isnt freezing, its just taking donkeys. Could this be the problem: A while back I installed a few fonts in '/usr/local/share/fonts/' , I downloaded an archive of fonts, so when I say a few... I mean more than 6000 . When I do anything that involves selecting fonts my computer takes a while to respond. So when a message is received could it be the font thats taking a while? I...

I agree, I would have thought there would be a menu entry or something to directly accress the history.... unless less there is, and weve both missed it

In kopete my webcam works but the image is all over the place, it 'looks' like a resolution problem (but Ive no idea). Ive hopefully attached an image. Im running Slack 10.2 (2.6.13) + Kde 3.5 and my cam is a cheapie thing which runs using the 'stv680' module. I dont know your question about full screen, but for the history... This has puzzled me for a while I always look for it and just give in, but I saw this post and had a good look. Press F9 (or 'window' -> 'Show Navigation Panel') in konqueror to bring up the side bar and its the clock icon.

I run Slackware 10.2 which includes Kopete 0.10.3. Everything had been working fine, I only used Kopete for MSN, then I added an AOL account to it. Im not sure if adding the AOL account has anything to do with the freezing, possibly just a coincidence. Kopete seems to work fine, logs into both MSN and AOL no problem etc. Its only when the message window opens (on either accounts trying to send or receive), the message window freezes and thats the end of it. Hi, A while ago, I was fiddling with slackware kde and I managed to remote login to another slackware box on my home network. I've no idea how i managed to get it working, i forgot.. Now Im trying to set it up again, this time with Mandrake 10.1 (kde 3.2) as the server and Slackware 10.1 (kde 3.4) as the client. I have a few questions. Firstly the KDM login on mandrake has a setting to remote login, while the Slackware doesnt have this option. Is there a setting to allow this? Do I need the same...
