[Kopete] Cannot compile on PCBSD 1.2

I was trying to compile the latest release of Kopete (0.12.2) from the Kopete website. Too bad there weren't any updated ports. Anyways, this was the error I got and I couldn't decipher it. Quoted make all-recursive Making all in kopete Making all in libkopete Making all in private Making all in ui if /usr/local/bin/bash ../../../libtool --silent --tag=CXX --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../.. -DKDE_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_CAST_ASCII -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -I../../../kopete/...

[Kopete] 0.12 logs

It wouldn't change anywhere else. It will stil be $KDEHOME/share/apps/kopete/logs GNOME or not. Yet, I don't think 0.12 saves it there anymore. gnutux

[Kopete] 0.12 logs

I thought there was a log browser built into Kopete 0.12, how do you open that because I only found logs that were dated before I installed 0.12 (from 0.11) gnutux

Cannot compile kopete-0.12-svn

ok, I can't seem to compile kopete 0.12 svn on SUSE 10.0, but I used to be able to. [Konqueror]SUGGESTION: Konqueror running on top of Firefox engine

true, but the Gecko engine had fixed these problems along time ago, because there's more site recognizing the Gecko engine than the KHTML engine. gnutux

[Konqueror]SUGGESTION: Konqueror running on top of Firefox engine

it would be great to see a Gecko support because I couldn't use the shortcuts on GMAIL or some site like that. Konqueror is lacking it. It would help other users too xboxrulz

[Konqueror]SUGGESTION: Konqueror running on top of Firefox engine

I want to suggest that we should get Konqueror running on top of the Firefox engine, like how Epiphany (for GNOME) runs their browser on top of Mozilla. It will really solve alot of those KHTML "misrenders". So, would it be possible?? gnutux

KPPP installation problem...

Since you have SuSE and I guess you have DSL, just run YaST2 and click on DSL on the Network Devices menu, then configure it so it will do PPoE. Add your provider and your username/password. There, you're set. If you have dial-up, click modem instead and do almost the same thing as above. If you still have problems, post @ SuSE Forums gnutux
