Upgraded KDE 3.2 to 3.3.1 and now the auto-login works fine. Also KDE 3.3.1 is a very nice upgrade with lots of new games, educational toys. For the future, you might want to watch the 'bloat' though, guys.
I'm running Fedora Core 2, which has a default Gnome gui, but I have found that KDE fits my needs better. Originally, I used Desktop Switcher, however I found that I had to logoff to shutdown my 'puter, an extra step (okay, I'm a lazy guy). I'm a newbie and using Kopete under SuSE 9. I've updated Kopete to the latest release, yet it doesn't connect to Yahoo. Checked the Yahoo site and they show 'CSA' and port 5050 instead of 'SCA" and port 5050, however still nothing. Wondering if my installing Mozilla and Firefox in my file/home/usrname dir is part of the problem? Konqueror is still intact, though. Any help would be appreciated.
