I am running Slackware 9.1 upgraded to current.
Hello i have a problem configuring my proxy. In Konqueror i was able to set the exceptions to things like server, now i am only able to set them to server.domain.xx. I the firm where i work they use a IIS for the intranet and some URLs point to things like http://server/something. Is there a workaround or setting that makes this possible ?
Don't think because the Slackware users don't make much noise that they are not here. I used every major distro and seteled for Slack
The first looks to much like XP, i think kde should work out its own way, not be an XP or Os X clone. The second solution looks better, but it looks to complex, please KISS. The current KDE menu looks already fine to me and most of the users i know.
I started with Redhat, then SuSE, then Mandrake, then Slackware then Knoppix, then Dedian, then Gentoo, the FreeBSD, and some other distro's and finaly stoped at Slackware with swaret and checkinstall. Swaret does about the same thing as apt-get, and with checkinstall i can compile wathever i want and have it installed as a package (checkinstall works also for deb and rpm).
