Help With Kontact Calendar Printing

I want to print a copy of the day view in Kontact's Calendar. I have several To Do's that are due on this day. However, they are not included when I print the day. In the Print Menu box, the checkbox for "Include To Do's that are due on the printed day(s)" is greyed out, and I cannot check it. Anyone know what I need to do to be able to activate this option? Thanks, Laura

Completed ToDo's Hiding

Ok.. I've figured out the first problem, regarding the hiding of completed "to-do's". For anyone else who found this confusing, there is a little checkbox in the calendary view, near the left hand side, under the what I'd call, mini-list of "To-do's". The checkbox says "Filter Enabled" beside it. That seems to be an unintuitive place to enable the filter especially when To-Do's have their own view, but you're not able to enable them in that view. But I still have the problem with printing, in th...

Completed ToDo's Hiding

I'm trying to figure out how to hide completed todo's. I was almost going to file a bug report about this, but discovered one had already been filed, and that appears to cover my issue: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45070 Basically, I'd like completed todo's to be hidden. I've gone into 'Settings > Edit Filters' and have "Hide completed to-do's" checked. Now, the bug report above was apparently resolved as the reporter did not have the filter enabled. For the life of me, I can't figure out...

A Wish - KDE Journal

I would love to have a Journal/Diary type of application created for KDE. Here's what I'd like to see it have: 1. Ability to encrypt entries 2. Searchable 3. Organizable (ie., mark entries for personal, work, play, etc.. allow the user to set different categories). Anyone working on anything like this? I've looked at a few other Journals for Linux, and there's really not a whole lot that is really good. Thanks, Laura

Re: KDE Mail,etc vs Evolution

Quoted Original von beach_defender Hi, I am currently using RH8.0 with KDE. When I first moved to Linux I installed Ximain Evolution after losing all my mail settings through a Mozilla Profile confsion. Having moved to Konqueror (And happy Iam), I'm getting very sick of Evolution's inabiltiy to shutdown and restart smoothly, so I would be interested in hearing the trials and tribs of anyone that has tried to migrate from Evolution to the KDE tools. Thanks in advance. Barry I've used both Kmail ...

Kpilot Missing Mail Conduit

In the latest Beta version, the mail conduit seems to be missing from Kpilot. Before I file a bug report (I checked bugs.kde.org and couldn't find anything about this), thought I'd ask here first if anyone else has discovered this, or if I'm missing something. Thanks! Laura

Spellchecking

I've searched for information on this, but haven't been able to find any specific to the problem I am having. There does seem to be an issue with some Beta versions, but I'm not using any Betas. I'm using Kmail V. 1.5.4 and KWord 1.2.1. I cannot get any spellchecking. Instead, I get the error message, "ISpell/Aspell could not be started. Please make sure you have ISpell or Aspell properly configured and in your PATH." Well, I do have aspell, and it is in my path (/usr/bin/aspell). I have no prob...
