Hi, got back home and here is the exact message that keeps flying by: >QGArray::at: Absolute index 892172688 out of range with the number incrementing as it goes. If I blow away my Mail directory things work with a fresh slate. With over 400,000 lines of email in my inbox, I don't exactly want to start over though. Any hints would be welcomed. Pavl
Howdy, I'm running KDE 3.2.x on a SuSE 9.0 distro. My box crashed whilst KMail was up. Now, upon reboot, I am getting a message ... I should have written it down and now am at work... so this is approximate: >QDArray::at:<Big Number that scrolls>ata Overrun Or some such and this scrolls up the screen at a happy pace while the GUI of KMail is hung. Any clues? I have blown away the old lock file in ~/.kde/share/applications/KMail and this did not help. Thanks in advance, Pavl
Hey, Just wondering if there is any interest in/ work going into/ getting the LOGO or Stickito robot control systems working under KDE. There is a lot of existing educational material for Stickito and a lot of interesting LOGO educational software out there. It seems that porting these existing bases should be a lot of bang for the buck. Comments?
I use KWM (KWIN?) for my regular desktop, but often use VNC to work from other computers. Under VNC I use ICE because of its smaller footprint and compatabilllity with VNC. If and when RedHat deems us worthy and releases KDE 3.1 I will switch to using it with VNC. So, that is 'why' one might use a different window mangler with KDE.
