Don't know which distribution are you on, I'm on debian. Many users from other distribution haven't got any issues by running knetworkmanager as user. That's damn strange. edit: I have just noticed, as you said in your 1st post, that you use debian too. debian is way complex sometimes

Hi, I'm having the same issue. knetworkmanager does not find any network interface at all, if ran as user. If I run it with kdesu, everything works well. But as you may know its a pain in the *** to run it every time i boot in. No fix for this? Did someone write any HOWTO? I really need that. I tried also to run knetworkmanager --no-fork on a shell but no error message was displayed. I tried to add my user to "netdev" group but still doesnt work. Perhaps could be cause of the configuration of Ne...
