They didn't call it RC beacuse other developers (who need to make / port they programs to KDE4) were not serious about KDE4 in stage of beta or RC... KDE4.1 will be much more complete than 4.0 thats for sure Great job KDE team Best regards Miki

well , it looks like i am only one here who is not dissapointed in KDE4...it is completly new and it is supossed to be wierd at this stage...but it will get better and better in next couple releases... Who remember KDE 1.0 or 2.0 ? , well i do... it was also wierd at begining (first releases) , and it was defenitly wierd if you were moving from Windows (well ok if you have use it together with windows) , you shuld say in that time...what is KDE if you have windows...forget about it... I am very ipressed with KDE4 , developers did made great job this time...It looks polished , it looks very professional and fresh...I think we needed change from kde 3.5 or gnome , it was 90's look and feel . 3.5 and gnome looks like win 95 ( colors of dialog boxes/windows is old style) , now finaly we have something new... Sure there are stil many things to do...it is first version after all , it is not suposed to be perfect already...but it will be for sure after couple more releases... Thanx ...
