KDE4 display/compositing problem, I think

Well, you can of course delete it, if you don't find any preferences that you are now missing sorely (after you have renamed the folder). I just didn't want to be the one who has suggested deleting a folder that contained irrecoverable preferences... Cheers Jetjockey32

Composite Extension with ATI Mobility X1400, only XRender works

Dear all, I hope you can point me to a solution to my display problem: I am using openSUSE 10.3 64 bit with KDE 4.0 and KDE 3.5.8. The fglrx driver installation is a known tricky spot, but I know for sure that the ATI proprietary driver is up and running in KDE 3 (checking there is no VESA blabla vendor string, using glxgears, etc.).
