If they need to change the engine go for Apples Webkit, I don't thing Gecko is the way to go... I'm still waiting for Firefox to run KHTML :p No serious... I don't think Gecko would be a solution for Konqueror, but maybe there will be other people that would like a Kfirefox, in stead of the GTK one. (Including me) but I'd like that as a separate/new browser. Why don't we push Microsoft to replace IE-core with KHTML? that would make webdevelopment definitely more easy.
I've simply never come across this situation... I just noticed that it is not possible to send HTML mails by default... first time I ever checked it... Going that kids also use Kmail maybe the feature would be handy... Still HTML-mail is wrong, but I guess sometimes you have to go with the flow... btw: why are they so worried about a message they wrote themselves? shouldn't they be more worried about your awnser to it?
you can set Kmail to pick HTML if there is a choise between HTML and txt messages, you can even set Kmail to pick up external content for the mail (Warning!). However, most people that use HTML and/or external content are either SPAM or KIDS or Newsletters. Question is if you want to load their content automatically.... but you can... I like Kmail mostly in the way it is... I just think there should be a filter that searches ALL folders, not just the current one. I have some folders that are par...

I'd say specialise Konqueror as a browser and use *dolphin* (not having seen it, I'm not totally sure) as a filemanager.
hi, I kinda found a problem in my Kmail, how's that with other people, or am I simply doing something wrong? I always used to have Orange Internet (smtp.orange.nl), however we changed providers and now our smtp server changed as well (smtp.casema.nl). The thing is that it gives me an error (Unrecognised transport protocol) when sending away messages. the SMTP server is ok, because I can send e-mail with Thunderbird on the same server. Kmail 1.9.6 KDE 3.5.6 SuSE 10.1
