This method isn't fixing the problem. I've checked and unchecked "Open links in new tab instead of in new window", and the problem still occurs both ways. How can I fix this?

when I paste a new song into the folder where I keep my music, and it asks if I want to overwrite the file, it will start playback to compare the files. Is there a way to disable this, or at least turn the volume of this down?
I don't know how to do that.
But I use the power saver which turns off the monitor, which I believe even saves the monitor more, and I'd like to use that. Do any other players have the option to close or activate the screen saver when they're done, so that the power saver works?
does cinelerra edit audio?
I've looked in there and can't find anything. Even if the player could close on the finish of the movie it would still allow for the power saver to go off I think.
