Found the problem

I had this problem as well, and I found that if you get this, it is that you have (or don't have at all) an older version of FreeType. Even FreeType 2.1.3 isn't sufficient, as my stock RedHat 9 box came with it. I found that everthing compiled and linked when I downloaded 2.1.8. Here's what I did to make the Qt compile work: 1.
