Hi, I have installed KDE 3.4.2-0 running on Fedora 3. On a "user" account some kde applications do not run. For instance, "kompare" gives an error message "Could not find our KompareViewPart". Yes, I can. It does not help. csh> kbuildsycoca & kbuildsycoca running... Reusing existing ksycoca csh> kompare ~/.cshrc ~/.bash error message from "Kompare" :: "Could not find our KompareViewPart" Thanks for reply.
Hi, I have installed KDE 3.4.2-0 running on Fedora 3. My question is about the proper system and/or KDE configuration to use the application "Kompare". When I run it as a "root", it works properly. When I run it as a "user", it does not work, the ERROR - KOMPARE message "Could not find our KompareViewPart" comes instead. Can anybody advice how to modify properly the system/KDE configuration files? What files, what variables? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------...
