I noticed that recent versions of KMail does not have SMTP pipelining for faster e-mail submission. Could you tell me the if your older version of KMail has such option in SMTP account configuration (second tab, at the bottom)? I will try to cut this option from older versiuon and build in into my recent KMail 1.9.3. Maybe there is ready to use patch that restores SMTP pipelining in current versions of KMail? If you know about such things tell me.
