I can't believe we cant't move panels, resize them, add a button to show the desktop... I'm very disappointed. If someone knows how to do it, please, post it.
It's been a disappointment, I thought that KDE4 would increase productivity, but I was wrong. My first steps after installing KDE4 were to personalize the panels. In 3.5, I have two panels, one on the top with the menu and the applets, and one on the bottom, with the task manager and, an icon to show the desktop and the virtual desktops. Hi, I have 2 installed distros sharing /home But one of them (Gentoo) is using KDE 3.4 and Suse is using KDE 3.5 so the .kde directory is incompatible and none of them is working properly. Is it possible to use differents .kde version directories? Because they are using the same. I also have a .kde3.5 folder but none of them are using it. And I'd like to share the kmail data as well, but I can't change it. What I really want is to store the emails in my own folder i.e. "mail". Can I do it? Thank...

Hello, I'm Suse user, and I have always seen a search input in the kmenu to search menu entries in the kmenu. Just typing "/WHATEVER". But now I can't do it in Gentoo. How can I activate it? I have tried everything, but kopete always connect at the startup. I'm using kdewallet but I have tried deactivating it and I got the same result. Is it a bug? I have kopete 0.11.1 but I also installed 0.12 beta 1 and is not working either. I just want open kopete and that no one account starts.
