It could be sufficent source in some cases but it will lack deeper understanding of "whats going on". In such situation would be imho better to have some intuitive tool written by someone enligthened rather than hand-made service menus.
Is planned in forthcoming version of KDE any tool to make service menus? Some alternative to nautilus-actions or thunar´s custom actions would be really nice. Probably only avaiable but discutably useful article is http://developer.kde.org/documentation/t…rvicemenus.html which is quite pity. Service menus (and their alternatives) are small things but they have huge impact on whole desktop usability and shouldnt be omitted as they currently seem by the most of free software developers not to ment...
