MultiSynk & Zaurus

Hi there,

I'm a happy Zaurus-user - more or less! I bought the zaurus 5500G about two years ago, but didn't use it a lot, because I wasn't able to sync it with KDE/PIM.

Now, as multisynk is released, I thought of giving my zaurus an other chance. Without success, so far. I flashed the zaurus with the latest Sharp-ROM available (3.10). I do not want to use OpenZaurus as it is to buggy for my needs. I did try OZ a couple of times, but there were always that many bugs, that it is no fun at all!

My question is: Does Multisynk sync with any Sharp-ROM?? I did try it with Sharp-ROM 3.10, but it doesn't seem to work at all. If I try to sync, Multisynk/Kontact always stops with "error during connection".

I googled all around the world, but didn't find any comments on the new multisynk, yet. Though, there were some comments on kitchensync (related to multisynk somehow???), saying there is a chance to get it working. Some guys did make it, but most guys didn't. No clear picture there!

So for now, can anybody tell me with what versions of zaurus-software (OZ, Sharp-ROM, any other ROM) I can sync my KDE/PIM with? If there is a chance at all, I will give you more details on my config, later.

Thanks for reading this!

regards,
Thomas
