Strange Crypto Behavior

After sending off an encrypted email with kMail (KDE 3.3) the message remains in the Sent Items folder encrypted with the reciever's public key.

That doesn't make much sense since I do not have the private key to decrypt.

Thunderbird/Enigmail uses - obviously - the senders public/private keys to encrypt the mail for the Sent Items folder leaving it decryptable.

What's up with kMail? Is this a bug or a feature?

Check if the "Always encrypt to self" option is checked.
