make konqueror select files or directories with single click

i don't want konqueror to open things - i want it to select them with single click. how do i make it? where is the option to change it?

Settings -> Control Center -> Peripherals -> Mouse
or
alt + f2, kcontrol -> Peripherals -> Mouse

There is no application based configuration as far as I know, only the global one.
