Linked Icons KDE 3.2 failed

I configure at menu-kde a link at ~/.kde/share/applnk-mdk to remote filesystem (mount via smb). This works, I view my applications at kde-menu but not icons. There are all in my remote unit.
I am doing something:
- I am linked my icons directory at ~/.kde/share/icons, too.
#kde-config --path icon
it recognizes two directory:/usr/share/icons:<my link icons>
- After update my menu with kbuildsycoca, icons doesn't view.
- At my files .desktop icon item is defined:
Icon=file.png
It seems directory linked ~/.kde/share/icons --> Remote unit isn't searched by KDE 3.2
