KDE 3.2 via APT

Someone upgraded to 3.2 via apt? If yes, i'd like to have the link for the sources.list :)

You are looking for http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/. Its the kde on redhat project. Check in unstable... stable is generally reserved for the current stable KDE. You will find the sources.list entries on their website.

Anybody know of a stable apt repository for KDE 3.2 now that it's been released? I've been checking all the usuals (kde-redhat) every 5 minutes but they haven't added them yet.

Does anyone know if it will mess up my apt setup if I upgrade manually using the RPMS? (and yes I know I'm impatient) :P

FYI, KDE 3.2 has been moved to "testing" now, so at least the packages have seen a fair amount of field testing.

We're working out a few relatively minor buglets, and after the packages finish building (and barring any new bugs), I foresee these moving to stable by the end of the week.

For those of you who would like to install KDE 3.2 on fedora core 1 there is an article by fedoranews.org on doing it. Its fairly striaght-forward and includes a link to an ftp repository of the necessary rpms.

After downloading the rpms the install is as simple as rpm -Fvh *

They also include a tutorial on getting KDE 3.2 installed with yum (the apt like application used by up2date.)
