I am fairly new at Linux. Just installed the Suse 9.1 Personal and am having problems with the mice. I've tried a couple of mice (mouses) and all seem to have the same problem. The mouse seems to have a mind of its own, jumping all over the screen, adding mouse clicks, opening and closing windows, etc. I had Red Hat 9 installed on the same box previously and seem to remember seeing something like that when using KDE. The system is totally un-usable in this state.

I've tried selecting some of the other mouse configurations thru YaST2 but haven't found one that works for me.

One mouse is a new Dell 2 button (freebie) thrown in when I purchased a server. Another is an old Microsoft 2 button mouse.

I also tried updating the XF86Config file to use /dev/psaux with both IMPS/2 and PS/2 and neither fixed the problem. Below is a copy of my XF86Config:
