How to add a printer into KDE system?

I am a beginner in KDE. After I installed a printer hp 5500 in my KDE system, I still could not use it. In System>Configure>printer, I got the error message: "no print spooler is installed".

Anybody can teach me how to active my printer?

Thanks a lot.

See if you distribution has it's own printer configuration wizard or utility. The Mandrake one works.

If you use Suse Linux you can configure the printer via YAST2 it works perfectly.
