Will Doom 3 support Linux?

I wanted to know if I can run Doom 3 on Linux or if it will need Direct X or just run better on a Windows machine?

use the cedega (winex4) and all will be well....

and with only a Pentium 3, in Win the minimum requisite is Pentium 4. :lol:
