I want Konqi to vanish from the logoutwindow

Hello,

I'm trying to delete the picture of Konqi which is shown in the logoutwindow. The only way is to replace the picture, because when I delete it, I get another symbol.

Is there a configuration-file or setting to avoid it?

I'd be happy if somebody has a solution.

Sincerely,
core

I just make a 1 pixel transparent png and name it shutdownkonq. That leaves the frame though.

I've tryied it. The Problem is, that KDE makes a 0,5cm frame around the mini-picture. The consequence is, that the buttons are not in the central of the dialogbox.
It doesn't look that beautyful  .

Is there any possibility to solve it?

Sincerely.

Don't think so, but not sure the problem can be solved by any other than the KDE development team. They need to kill konqi or they need to provide a dialog that allows users to select a logout picture or the possibility of having no logout picture.

Death to Konqi.

Probably not what you are looking for., but if you use GDM instead of KDM to login, you get a small logout window in KDE with no Konqi and only 1 choice, i.e. Logout, no Shutdown or Reboot. I then select select Shutdown from the GDM menu. I like KDE, but I find GDM is nice as a login manager. It's the default for Fedora, no matter the desktop you use.
