Searching for icons of houses, people, fruits, ...

Hi,

can anyone give me a hint where
to find icons with concrete
meaning, like a collection of
icons of houses, of comic figures,
of furniture, of fruits, etc. ?!
I'm searching the Internet, and for
"pc" and "mac" there are tons of it, but I can't find *anything*
for KDE?!?!

Most icons you can find on the net for pc or mac, are also useable in kde
You can also convert the image type to .png, the default kde uses.

if you were looking to create your own icon theme, you would have to convert each of them into .png, as rinse mentioned, and put them under size folders eg

~/.kde./share//themeName/32x32/apps
~/.kde./share//themeName/32x32/mimetypes
~/.kde./share//themeName/32x32/actions

~/.kde./share//themeName/64x64/apps
~/.kde./share//themeName/64x64/mimetypes
~/.kde./share//themeName/64x64/actions

etc...
