Konqueror smb:/ Modified, Accessed & Created dates wrong

Hi guys!

Is it just me?

On SuSE 9.1, Successfully set up smb.conf (Whew :) to access shares on Win2K Server & WinXP in a Workgroup configuration. File read/write all work great.

However, In Konqueror, Detailed List View, the date/time being displayed under "Modified" are in fact the "Accessed" date time. I finally confirmed this by going to the W2K server/Windows Explorer and right clicking on column heading bar and checking "accessed". Adjusting for GMT, these are exactly the date/time Konqueror is using to "confuse" us.

Going further in Konqueror, picking a single file on the W2K server, and right clicking properties/general tab ... what shows as "Created" is in fact the "Modified" d/t, what shows as "Modified" is in fact the "Accessed" d/t, and what shows as "Accessed" looks bad (eg. 1969-12-31).

This also fails the same way on the latest Mepis distribution under Konqueror.

It's surprising more people are not complaining about this. In an office environment, we use these dates quite a bit so this is keeping us from replacing some old Windows machines with new Linux ones. :( So it makes me wonder if I am doing something wrong or others have just not noticed ??
