./configure (error)

fallowing message during ./configure

libz... configure: error: not found.
Possibly configure picks up an outdated version
installed by XFree86. Remove it from your system.

need some help!

hallo

if libz is missing you have to install it!
Go to control center/ add/remove software
select packages libz and libz-devel (or something like that)
and that's it

Though, yesterday, i was missing many packages, and i had to install them one by one
