[kopete] I can't compile kopete with mandrake community 10.1

Hello

I can't compile kopete with the mandrake community 10.1 is the same thing with the 0.8.4 and 0.9.0 kopete version.
When i try ./configure the process stop with

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!*

I had tried with any --prefix and there is always the same error

I use Kde3.2 and i have kopete 0.8.4 install by default on my distribution but the netmeeting plugins is not enable and I want enable it with a compilation of kopete and i want try the last version too.

Can you help me to solve this problem ?

thank

One common problem are missing development packages. Search for kdelibs-devel (or is it kdelibs-dev on Mandrake?) with your installation tool and install them. Maybe you even need other packages, too.

Thank you

Your soluce was the right and the devel libs where missing.
But on mandrake community 10.1 the kde devel libs are named
libkdecore4-devel-3.2.3-74mdk

I have installed them and after try ./configure and the process run whitout any errors.

on mandrake the devels libs are name with the same writting

Realy Thank for all
