[kopete] can't recieve files

[kopete] can't recieve files

I have version 0.8.0 that was installed in my MDK. I'm able to send files but I can't recieve files. Is there anyway I can recieve files in Kopete?

Also I done a search on the forum first and no matter how a set the word search I keep getting anywhere from 230 to 850 results.

I cannot answer your kopete question, but when I use the search with the two search terms "kopete files" (without the quotes) and check the option "Search for all terms" instead of "Search for any terms or use query as entered" I get 47 hits.

Maybe you try the search again.

Firstly, what protocol are you using for your IM.
Secondly, are you behind any firewalls, proxies etc?
Thirdly, are you aware that kopete 0.9.0 has been released, with a heap of file transfer fixes etc? That would probably be the easiest solution.
