[Kopete] 0.9.0 Show bubble on new message broken

I just upgraded to Kopete 0.9.0 and now whenever I have a chat window open and a new message arrives, the new message bubble doesn't pop. It only pops up when there is no chat window open. That was one of the things I really loved about Kopete, it really helped me pay attention to people talking at me, and now I'm back to being a conversation slacker. Not good. People are unhappy with me.

Debian, kernel 2.4.26, KDE 3.3.0, Kopete 0.9.0
