[Kopete] IRC: how to do auth and invite?

[Kopete] IRC: how to do auth and invite?

Hi,

(Preface: I'm an IRC newbie.)

I have two problem with kopete in IRC:

1) Usually I need to do something like
/msg nickserv auth <nick> <password>
Kopete open a new chat window and nothing happens. Other clients don't, instead I get an appropriate reply.

2) After joining a certain channel, I do
!invite <another channel>
and join the second channel (or I do !uset autoinvite 1 once). But this does not seem to work with kopete (maybe a consequence of 1) ).

Is this possible with kopete?
