Browser Optimization ?

Hello,

I'm using Konqueror as web browser under FreeBSD and it seem very slow to me. When type in an adress it stays for 5-6 seconds and then begins to download the files ... Do you have any idea how can I optimize it, or some other faster browser would be better?

try using mozilla firefox.
