Install Problem w/Kopete 0.8.0 and Red Hat 9 Personal

As stated in a previous forum post from wickednomad, when installing kopete 0.8.0 under Red Hat 9 Personal I am receiving the same message:

error: Failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.0.9.7 is needed by kopete-0.8.0-1
libssl.so.0.9.7 is needed by kopete-0.8.0-1

I have performed a search in my system and found:

libcryptoa.so.0.9.7
libssla.so.0.9.7

What does the 'a' represent?

I would really like to get this installed on my Red Hat system as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
