Set a group of tabs as home pages when launching K. Browser

I am wanting to try Konqueror's Web Browser to possibly use in place of Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox.

I would like to set a group of pages (in tabs) as the home page, so that when the Konqueror Web Browser is launched, all the tabs I have set will open simultaneoulsy.

Is this now possible, or has it been considered?

Thanks,

Richard L.

Patiently waiting for a reply...

I was hoping to get some kind of reply on this, especially since setting a group of tabs as homepages is now extremely popular from the Netscape browser, the Mozilla, the Mozilla Firebird/Firefox, and other Gecko-based browsers.

Does that mean that no one on the forum has any clue of whether this has been considered in development of the Konqueror browser in the past, or whether if it will be reconsidered (or is concluded) in the newest release of KDE?

I believe all my distributions are using KDE3.1.x: Mandrake 9.2, Libranet 2.8.1, Xandros 2.0, SuSE 9.0 and Red Hat 8.0 (KDE 3.0.x).

Any comments or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Richard L.

Hello,

Hope I understood question, so that my answer is helpful to you. :)

If I remember correctly (too lazy to check :)), this is how it's done:
Open all the pages in tabs that you want, then go Settings -> Configure View Profiles, choose webbrowsing for profile name, check the "Save URLs in profile", Save and you are done.
