Konqueror and javascript

Hi
I have a problem with Konqueror and javascript.
Certain pages are not showed correct, f.i.
http://www.eurobench.com/guru2.asp
Menu-items don't work: there is an error wich is only shown when choosing the option, Open in New Tab.
The error is: Protocol not supported Javascript.
Javascript is enabled globally in the configuration :?:
I'm using Suse 9.0, and KDE 3.1.4

I hope anywone has seen this one before and has a solution.
Thanx, greets
Roland

Hello!

I have the same problem: with Konqueror, same webs don't display correctly but if I use Mozilla, they work fine!

I have configured Konqueror with Java & JavaScript checked on, but it still don't work properly.

Some suggestion on how to do it work (like the IE ones)?

See you!

Konqueror's (or should I say KHTML's) support for Javascript, CSS and DOM is still badly brain damaged. Which torques me immensely because one of my favorite web sites (http://episteme.arstechnica.com/6/ubb.x) is right now completely broken in Konqueror. I've sent bug reports to Ars Technica, Infopop (which makes the ubb.x forum software) and the KDE developers requesting this be fixed.

So far, the only response I've seen as of yet from Infopop is "For now Konqueror, even the newest version, has a deficient implementation of the DOM. That's something well-known and prevents most of the advanced features from working."

:x :x :x

KDE developers: if you are listening? FIX THIS!!! episteme.arstechnica.com is a classic torture test for web browsers. MAKE IT WORK!!!

killing pages

There are also pages which will kill your konqueror in KDE3.2. The Konqueror in KDE3.1.4 shows them correctly.
