Kopete 0.8rc1 won't connect

I have an issue with connecting to AIM in Kopete .8rc1. It will connect, and then I am immediately kicked off. I'm connecting through a T1 LAN connection, and I didn't have this issue at home on my dialup. Is there a bug in the LAN connection that I can fix?

Here is the console output:

MNG error 1029: Chunk out of sequence; chunk TERM; subcode 0:0

Interesting: I've got the same problem with connecting to MSN with 0.8rc1.

[Edit: Just looked into it in a bit more detail, and it doesn't seem to be causing any problems as such - just an error message in loading the 'connecting' animation. Looks like the real problem's a bit deeper...]

Any known fixes for this problem? Since no .8 release has ever been able to compile for me, I'm assuming that the RPM's just install without mentioning certain errors.
