KDE 3.1 and my network card

hello i am a new user of kde3.1 under freebsd. and kde didn't know i have a network card
but when i tape ifconfig my card is here and i can ping all computer on the network .how declare my network card on kde? and second problem how to use it for going on the net

p.s:do you know a forum kde in french?

Can yu ping with full addresses, for example www.kde.org ?

If not, the DNS servers are not know by your system. In this case, you need to modify your /etc/resolv.conf (at least in Linux, no idea in BSD. I am not a network expert anyway.)

No freebsd and linux are unix system :) But they are quiete different.
