Dashed borders in Konqueror

I know this is a bit strange... but anyway. I've noticed that dashed borders are much longer (i.e. each individual dash is about half an inch long, instead of about a tenth on an inch) than they are in other browsers, such as Netscape/Mozilla, IE and Opera.

Basically, I want to know if there's anyway of changing the length of these borders via a userContent.css stylesheet (or whatever it's called in Konqueror) or by any other way. Is this possible, or do I have to stick with ugly long dashes?

CSS stipulates that borders appear as rendered per browser. What this means is that while you can control the width of the border, KDE gets to decide how it'll appear in Konqueror, given that width.

If you really want to change the width of the dashes, you'd have to edit the Konqueror code.
