Thanks in advance

Do you mean to protect your RH9 box or to run on the Linux box protecting windows boxes?

There isn't really any viruses that are a danger to Linux at all, there have been 'proof of concept' written but you are extremely unlikely to come accross any in the wild.

There are plenty of products available that will do server based virus checking for Linux but I've never tried them so I can't comment on their usefulness.

Try F-prot at http://www.f-prot.com - they have a linux version which should compile and install easily on Redhat. I had no problems in Mandrake 9.1.

Although there is a reduced risk of viruses on Linux cf M$ there are malicious worms and trojans swarming the Internet and f-prot can flag these.
