Konqueror freeze

It seems as though konqueror is causing linux to freeze. It happens randomly when I select text in konqueror. I don't know if it is konqueror's fault, or if there is some other problem, but I can get it to repeat fairly regularly by repeatedly selecting text at a web page. It is not simply konqueror that freezes, but linux in general. The mouse continues to move, but I cannot click anything, the cursor doesn't change, and I cannot swith to a different virtual console using ctrl+alt+F#...

This happened under mandrake 9.1, so I switched to redhat 9 which I am currently using. I have a GeForce with the latest nvidia drivers (not nv).

Thanks, phizzure

Nevermind

This appears to be a bug in the RenderAccel option in the nvidia display driver. Sorry for the mispost.
