KPPP and Konqueror cooperate?

I am using KDE 3 on FreeBSD 5 system.
I run KPPP and connect to my internet-provider. All right!
Then I run Konqueror and he tell me that:

An error occurred while loading http://www.gufi.org
The process for the /www/gufi.org protocol died unexpectdly

KPPP is running, but Konqueror strike!
What can I do?

This has nothing to do with kppp, but with kio.
The kio slave for viewing websites died unexpectitly.
Could be there is something wrong with your installation of kdebase.

Does this happen a lot?
If you try to reload the page, does Konqueror show it, or does the proces protocoll die again?

Figuring out what went wrong with the installation of KDe is indeed difficult.
A workaround is using another browser, like Opera, Mozilla, or Galeon.
to use them as default in KDE, go in kcontrol to kde components -> File asociation, select the mime type for html, and add your favorite browser, like Galeon %U. some browsers expect a flag (like %U), others don't. U can check that out by running browsercommand --help[b/] from the commandline.

Well, my thanks for yours efforts to help me.
I resolved KPPP&Konqueror trouble. It was very simple: FreeBSD is not Windows and DSN Domains and IP must be edited and specified! I understood (a bit) resolv.conf too.

That is correct, but usually kppp does this for you
