kpp privileges

I have installed RH 8.0 with kpp.
I am accessing kpp via Gnome.
kpp is available only to root
How do i make it available to other users?

that did the trick....thanks!

i've noticed that there are numerous folders ending in .d,
init.d, xinetd.d, profile.d, and many more
What is the significance of the 'd'"
