kmix and decop

Hello,
I have kde3.3 on debian and a weird problem with kmix.
when I look at kmixrc I see this:

Size=512,307
Tickmarks=true
TrayVolumeControl=true
Visible=false
startkdeRestore=true

Mixer_Name_Key=SigmaTel STAC9721/23
View.Input.Devs=8
View.Output.Devs=3
.
.
.

Untill now it's ok.
then if I try to run
[code:1]dcop kmix Mixer0 mixerName[/code:1]
I see blank line.
and if I run this:
[code:1]dcop kmix Mixer0 isAvailableDevice 0[/code:1]
The result is false...

what can be done about it?

apart from problems with dcop, are you experiencing troubles with sound in kde in general, or changing the volume in kmix?

Nope. The sound works perfectly, and I can change the volume in kmix.

That's what is weird here.
