artsd and alsa

I am running Fedora Core I. I have installed kde 3.2 over it and also alsa.

When I use alsa, the cpu usage of artsd is around 90 percent. A google serach revealed it happens due certain oss emulation layer and suggested that in the artsd's hardware tab, I should change the device to ALSA from auto detect. The device drop down list, however, doesnot have any option for ALSA.

I was wondering if some one can tell me how to add ALSA to artsd's device list.

thanx,
-anshul
