KGhostView Application Broken

I use Red Hat 9.0 and KDE 3.2 Beta 1.

I compile KDE from sources and have encountered some problems with KGhostView. When I first initially compiled this version of KDE, KGhostView was functional and displaying documents properly. However, recently I am unable to read PDF documents (it says "Could not open file: ") and when I try to load PS files it starts to load the pages (blank) and then crashes (crash output at end of post). I can't recall installing anything new or changing any of the core files of my system other than compiling 2.6.0-test10. I have been running the test kernels since the start and they have never conflicted with any of the applications. Are there any external applications or libraries outside the KDE core that KGhostView relies on to load files? I also tried re-compiling KGhostView and it still doesn't work, to my knowledge all my other KDE apps are still working. Anyone have a clue as to what may have happened?

Here is the KDE Backtrace:
