little problems i still have after installing kde 3.2.3

little problems i still have after installing kde 3.2.3

Hi

I have installed manually kde 3.2.3 after downloading the package .tgz (i have a slack box).
After the installation kde doesn't start because of some path problem (library expecially) So i fix them...

Now kde work fine but there are some little problems:

- Even if i have installed kdei-18n-it and select my language from the control panel, kde doesn't change language. (Italian is selectioned but everything still works in english)

- When i try to load any manual of any kde application (kde help) i receive a message like this:
an error occurred while loading
help:/khelpcenter/index.html?anchor=welcome:
Could not start process Unable to create io-slave
klauncher said: error loading 'kio_help'

This is relative to the kde welcome help for example...

How can i fix this problems?
