starting an app automatically w/KDE

Hi foks,

I'm just wondering: how can I make an app (in my case superkaramba) start automatically after KDE is loaded (say right after the kicker)? Is there any file which contains commands executed on KDE startup?

thnx

KDE has a ~/.kde/Autostart directory. I think this is used to do exactly what you want.

I've never used it but I think it's not needed put .desktop files there just executable files.

It is sufficient to put a .desktop file into the folder, for example one you can create through the desktop context menu.

Another possibility is to start the program and then save this session.
