kernel config.in error

Hi, first of all, I'm still new at Linux, so please don't kill -9 me for that post :) Okay, so I'm using Slackware 9.1 with kde 3.2 .Recently I upgraded my kernel from 2.4.22 to 2.4.24 using packages. After few things averything went ok, but when I opened "Control Center" in kde with section about "Linux Kernel" a got: Kernel Configuration couldn't have been saved (I'm translating so... :), and then goes:

else if [ "$CONFIG_USB_PXA2XX" = "y" -o "$CONFIG_USB_PXA2XX" = "m" ]; then

and it says it's parse error with if. For me the line looks good :) But maybe I need more c lessons. And, well... how to fix it? What's wrong with that? Maybe someone knows, please help.

Big tnx, for any help.
